I was working for Illinois Bell and my Mom, just being a Mom, was persistent on me becoming a volunteer fireman.

So I tried it and found I enjoyed it, and it beat climbing telephone poles on a daily basis. The next thing I know, I got hired with Calumet City in April 1994.

And somehow... ..I lasted 25 years with the same damn department.

Started on the ambulance with Deech, with Stocky as my captain, Flowers was the chief and pretty sure it was Gold Shift.

Recently engaged to , Max will be graduating from college after this school year and Sam graduates the following year.

Retirement plans.…. We moved to Tennessee. Just planning on enjoying retirement, doing what ever i feel like, whenever I feel like it.
